Carb night / nite thinger

Really wish I had a pic for this, maybe i will score one later.  So i saw this video with whats his face Keifer about all his metabolic wisdom and carb nite.  i've heard of this before on atkins, break a plateau by goosing the engine, figured it was psychological but he says its got to be weekly so in the interest of science, ok, i'll bite, no pun intended.

so instead of my somewhat usual nacho splurge where i dont eat all the chips and the bigger sin is the beans but mostly meat, sour cream, jalipenos, olives, hot sauce,  all pretty good... i went for it and had a full on slice of pizza and a apple fritter, later choking back a mocha frap and a brownie.  all this should happen in 6 hours, i managed that but honestly hated it, all that wheat and processed sugar felt awful.

so i will weigh in tomorrow and see if it worked, last week i was back up a few pounds so i figured i'd give it a shot, if it did work i just cant take his advice and eat total gut acheing crap, maybe some icecream but more like unproccessed honey or sugar on sweet potato, the wheat had me having acid refulx for days, managed to still not take anything for that but after 7.5 months of nothing like that crap at all even on a 'cheaty' day i can tell, that shit is just not for me.

listen to your body, it does a great job of giving some not so subtle hints what to do.  i'll try to post the weigh in info tomorrow and how i tackle the weekend based on what i find.

happy living!

  1. so i weighed in a week later, i had gained and it took half the week to stop feeling 'off' not saying this plan is bogus but i'm off of it this week, i might try it again when i'm on more of a full induction less than 30 carbs for 10 days deal like you are supposed to be. that might be what makes this fail for me now.
